Wines of the Comte de Mentaubert family are composed of the three types of Bordeaux ‘still’ wines: red and dry white from the regional Bordeaux appellation, and a half-dry white wine from appellation ‘Premières Côtes de Bordeaux’.
The red Bordeaux wine is blended with 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot. It is aged in stainless steel tanks and therefore fresher in the month with fresh fruits aromas. As many Bordeaux this wine has a good length.
The dry white wine is composed of Sauvignon and Semillon grapes. With a shiny and golden yellow colour, the wine is slightly oaky, pleasantly fresh with aromas of white flesh fruits.
The ‘Premières Côtes de Bordeaux’ half dry white wine is more complex, sweeter and perfect as an aperitif.
