The trade brand Pradignac was registered by Union Vincole in 1962. This collection is a bestseller in the traditional network of cafés, hotels, restaurants and in wine shops.
The range is quite large and ably represents the main terroirs of Bordeaux: AOC Bordeaux red, Saint-Emilion, Médoc et Pessac Léognan.
Reds of Pradignac are blended with the classical grape varieties of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. They have been selected upon their quality taste which recall the standard flavours one expects from Bordeaux. With a clear and ruby-red colour, the wines are essentially fruity and have a persistant length with silky tanins.
White wines of Pradignac are also made with the usual grapes Sauvignon (70%) and Semillion (30%). They are designed to be fresh with peach and white flowers aromas. The ageing in french oak provides some extra sweetness and complexity.
Finally, this collection of ‘classics’ includes a charming rosé wine, intense and elegant at the same time.
